Description

--UPDATE-- Added +0.075 Contour compensation. Allows tighter fit of model overall.

This is a fun and hopefully useful widget that can be used in numerous configurations. It is a 10-part print-in-place challenge as well. It includes a lot of hinges and pivots, a slide and multiple detents to make a compact and collapsible multipurpose phone stand and phone hanger.

He has written out a detailed description as well as noted my print settings on my blog here...

amazing print. every axis here works flawlessly. there are so many different parts and options to use this. I recommend the YouTube video to figure out how to use. model is a bit loose so maybe printing the other option which is tighter would be better.

@urishab thank you! I did include another profile that increases outer contour by 0.75 to make things a little tighter.

Prints well, everything works perfectly fine in regards to phones. Yet for only phone usage this stand is a bit bulky imho. I use it a lot with an 10" tablet, e.g. hanging it during flights onto the seat in front of me for which this is really a nice gadget for. Though, the only flaw i found so far is that standing on a table does not work with a tablet. It just tips over to the back. So, don't expect full tablet compatibility.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with some of your comments. I have managed to get it working with my 11" tablet, but stability is questionable due to not wanting the stand to be too bulky.
