I like to use the Eryone dual silk color 250g rolls. These come in cardboard rolls which can only be used manually. I have ended up with a variety of partially used rolls. I looked for some adapter spools so the spools could be used in the AMS and found one for 250 g plastic rolls. Using some ideas from that model I used Fusion 360 to create a spool adapter that could be used in the AMS. (Thank you to bkillian for the inspiration.) The spools have three securing clips that the spool is secured by. These clips are tight enough to hold the spool in place but will not damage the cardboard. The spools also are large enough so that when they are placed on the 250 g spool, they are the same dimensions as a regular Bambu spool. I have done some test prints where two colors are used with a filament change and have had no problems with the adapters. I have included the Fusion 360 file so the spools can be adapted if required. I used regular settings with no special modifications and printed the spools using PLA.
