Description

I made these BIG (85mmx85mmx25.5mm) friendship bracelet beads for decorations.

You can run fishing line through the beads, but there is also a hole on the back that will fit one of THESE magnets, if you are putting them on something metal.

The size looks great with 2.36" ball pit balls, commonly found on Amazon, to make large friendship bracelets for desks, bedrooms, or dorm rooms.

Number and symbol beads HERE!

UPDATED 8/5/2024:

Now includes Ñ and accented vowels in the raw files!

Love the letters! I printed this out for my friend’s birthday and also used the general shape of the bracelet bead to create a little box to hide some gifts and notes from family. We used command strips to get them on the wall as I didn’t manage to pull any string through it and we needed it for a non-magnetic surface :)

Awesome! Super creative! I have found that taping some string or fishing line to a wire helps thread it through the beads.

What if you just have them buy you some filament and then give them the printed letters? They could go together to purchase the filament for a few of them.

that’s true, could do something like that. just didn’t know if you had anything offering commercial rights like some others I’ve come across. I’ll see what I can work out! thanks! Honestly I’ve got to get better at CAD. lol but between work and kids it’s hard to find the time! thanks for the awesome model! My wife made me print some for her and two of her friends. (All teachers) lol

This was a super simple Tinkercad project! You can do it! I am no master, but we only get better if we try.

Really excited about these! Just wanted to make sure that there is no way to make one letter at a time correct? I want one letter from each of the ‘plates’. Wanting to spell Gwen for my neice. I’m still new to 3d printing :)

if you are printing from the app you can select which letters to print on each plate and tell the app not to print the other letters. Alternatively you can download the 3MF and rearrange the letters to just put the 4 you need in one plate and print that.

Do you mean the other “beads” in the pictures? I just got some ball pit balls on Amazon and put a hole through them. The pack I got had balls and stars, but there are heart ones too.

Wow, ok. I had no clue they made other shapes for those packs. Thank you!

I love these! I wish someone would make them as one solid layer so one can take advantage of really cool build plates. Idk if that makes sense at all. Great files!

I was thinking about this idea. the issue I see is figuring out a good radius for the front that will look good and not cause overhang issues when being printed face down.

All one needs to do is make the black letters the same height as the white, pretty simple.
