A filament dryer box designed for the Hamilton Beach 32100C Food Dehydrator.
Requires a build plate of 325x255 mm or larger to print the Frame.
Hardware required:
- Hamilton Beach 32100C Food Dehydrator
- For each Roller and/or Threaded Shaft:
- 2x 626Z bearings (6x19x6mm)
- 2x M6x12mm (or longer) Socket Head Bolts
- 2x M6 lock nut
- For each Nut A
- 1x M4x10 Button Head bolt
- 1x M4 Nut
- For each Panel:
- 1x PC4-M10 Pneumatic Connector for each Panel A.
I added a blank panel as a step file if you want to modify it yourselves.
Parts to print:
- 1x Frame
- 4x Panels
- I used 2x Panel B's at the front and 2 Panel A's at the back.
- If you want to use Rollers (Spool rolling on its circumference):
- 4x Rollers
- Each roller takes a bearings assembly at each extremity (see picture).
- If you want to use the Threaded Shaft (Spool rotating around its center axis):
- 2x Threaded Shafts
- Each shaft takes a bearings assembly at each extremity (see picture).
- 2x Nut A
- The Nut A's can be clamped on the Threaded Shafts with the M4 bolt and nut, allowing easier screwing and unscrewing of the Nut B to hold the spool.
- 2x Nut B
Printing:
- Support for the Frame is already included in the file.
- The Panel holes should be able to bridge across without support.
- I printed the Frame and Panels at 0.32 mm layer height, and the rest at 0.2 mm.
