Description

Hi this is Christmas tree 2 2019 vase print it has a star topper and base. It's easy to print and a fun decoration for the festive season I have added lights inside my big 200% version depending on the lights you get you should be able to fit them inside and possible in to the star at the top as it is in 2 parts for easy printing. I hope you like and as always happy printing.

I have a YouTube video of this tree if you would like to see just search for Brithawkes on YouTube or follow link.

(update) I have added a main body version with out a indentation in the bottom as there seems to be a issue with prusa slicer trying to print a inner was and bridge the gap in vase mode this doesn't happen in cura in vase mode so this version you can print a solid base then just cut it out so you can add lights if you wish.

(update 2) I have added a star that has no holes or groves for cables to make it easier to print in small scale.

(Update 3) replaced star with no holes as base was wrong should be fine now

Print instructions

I have printed this in many scales from 30% to 200% all have printed well in vase mode. sliced in cura please check you slicer before printing and make sure that it is not trying to print a inner wall as i have added a rebate inside to create a lip to aid addition to the bed but not a solid base so I could fit lights in. I printed with 0.4 nozzles and 1mm nozzles from 0.15 up to 0.4 layer heights and on the 0.4 nozzle I used a line with from 0.4 up to 0.8.

Hello, the solid star base pattern does not fit/match the top of the tree like the star with the holes in them. See attached picture. Left most is the correct pattern (star with holes), middle is the solid star, and right is the top of the tree. Otherwise, excellent piece! This was printed with black/green sparkle glow in the dark filament and the star is a UV reactive filament. I plan to put a black light in it. If you could correct the solid star pattern that would be awesome! Thank you.
