â ď¸ Material & Printing Recommendations
Please Read Before Printing!
- Recommended Material: PETG â I strongly recommend printing this case in PETG. The slight flexibility of PETG is essential for the snap-fit assembly and ensures the latches remain durable without cracking over time.
- PLA Warning: â While printing in PLA is possible, it is not recommended. PLA is much stiffer, making the assembly process difficult (requiring significant force) and the latches brittle. In my testing, PLA versions were hard to assemble and difficult to open/close comfortably.
âď¸ Assembly Instructions
- Tool-Free Assembly: This design uses a snap-together mechanism.
- Technique: Align the hinges and apply firm pressure to snap the parts together. No screws are needed. Patience is key!
