Game Machine

Description
Welcome to the world of physical gaming! This game machine brings the popular "Endless Runner" classic (known, for example, as the Dino game in the browser) from the screen directly to your desk. But here you don't move pixels – you control a real, mechanical game character that has to jump over real obstacles.
The Game Principle: A conveyor belt moves obstacles towards your character. Your task is to press the JUMP button at the right moment to avoid being hit.
Score Hunt: Every overcome obstacle earns points on the LCD display.
Dynamics: The better you are, the faster the belt gets!
Game Over: If the character touches an obstacle (detected by invisible infrared light barriers), the game stops.
Become a Level Designer! The special thing about this machine: You are not tied to predefined levels. Thanks to the integrated Build Mode, you can design the game completely according to your wishes:
Build your own levels: Move the obstacles on the chain, change the distances, or build nasty combinations to challenge your friends.
Customize Themes: Are you tired of the standard design? Simply swap out the game character and obstacles! These adhere magnetically to the chain. Turn the machine into a Mario level, a space chase, or a racing game – there are no limits to your imagination.
Assembly instructions including parts list and Arduino code are attached.
Base for the chain drive (heavily modified)
