Stocking Hanger

Stockings hanging from the mantle are beautiful but then you either can't use your fireplace or you have to take the stockings down each time. We like to use our fireplaces especially when family are home for the holidays. We have a stair railing that separates the stairwell from our living room. It seemed like the perfect spot for the family stockings. The only model I could find online had a flat top profile while ours has a contour to it. These clips work perfectly. I put a 3 lb. weight in one of the stockings to test the strength of the hook and there were no problems whatsoever.
