This allows to vary the voltage to install for example 12v fans on a 24v printer.

There are different models of voltage regulator (LM2596) with different dimensions and arrangement of components.

This design is for a model with a dimension of about 65x39 mm and center distances (holes) of 58x32 mm.
It has a single button on the right side of the display to switch between the IN and OUT configuration.
Look at the picture of my LM2596 to see if yours is similar.

I made 3 variations for the bottom of the case:

1. without holes for mounting
2. drilling for M3 screws inside the case
3. fixing outside the case with M3 screws
