Description

03/02/2024 update

Designed two decorative badges that can be embeded on honeycomb panel. Uploaded a separate print profile. Feel free to try it.

A honeycomb version of Easy-to-Assemble Dice Tower. To fit all components in kit cards, I scaled 0.75, so the overall filament cost is only 56g. This dice tower can still roll 15.8mm dices smoothly.

The gaps could be a little tighter for all but the front and back plate. Assembly is a little tricky since they don't hold snug until the front/back plates are in place, and the gate that catches the dice likes to fall off if you roll a heavy metal die. Rolls great for standard resin dice and is a fun talking piece when assembling at the table

Hi Tav3n, thank you for the detailed feedback. I will improve in the next version. 1. tighten the gaps except the front and back plates. 2. enhance the gate to avoid falling off. Besides, I am curious, do you prefer a bigger dice tower or the current size is enough?

The current size works well for me because everyone at the table has their own tower or tray. My LED D20 does get stuck inside but it's oversized and very lightweight so I don't trust it's rolls anyway lol. It would be hard to share, but I just tossed an extra kit in the bottom of my DnD box to give away if someone needs a tower

Printed well but some of my d20's get consistently stuck. Some are fine though. I'd recommend scaling up a tiny bit.

I haven't printed another one yet. I would think as little as 3-5% should do the trick.
