FlipDeck – Magnetic Finger-Fidget with Trick Action
FlipDeck is a magnetic fidget toy, similar in size to a fingerboard — but without wheels. Instead, embedded magnets let two decks snap together cleanly. With a sideways flick of your finger, you can perform mini tricks like kickflips, making it super satisfying and fun.
Required Magnets
You will need 16 magnets (Ø 8 × 2 mm) for a complete set.
About the Design
This project was inspired by the general idea of magnetic finger-fidget boards popularized by creators like MZM Digital Design.
However, this is not a remix.
The model is completely rebuilt from scratch, including the shape, structure, and artwork.
I’m releasing this file for free, because I want everyone to enjoy FlipDeck.
Features
- Fully original construction
- Integrated magnet pockets
- Clean, printable geometry
- Stylish deck artwork
- Perfect for fidgeting, stress relief, and learning mini tricks

Update:
The following magnet sizes have been added.
However, I still recommend using Ø 8×2 mm magnets for the best performance:
- Ø 5×2 mm (doesnt work realy good)
- Ø 5×3 mm
- Ø 6×2 mm
- Ø 6×3 mm
- Ø 8×3 mm
- following Flipdeck holder added
- https://makerworld.com/de/models/2022555-flipdeck-holder#profileId-2180087
Please share your feedback on which magnet variants work best so others don’t end up printing parts that don’t work. Thank you very much!
Note
MZM Digital Design helped popularize the concept of magnetic fidget boards, and I think it’s fair to acknowledge that inspiration — even though this design is 100% original.
Have fun printing and flipping!
