Description
Wouldn't it be "smart" if LK integrated a dimmer into their rocker switch. But they haven't (yet), so I've created something even smarter. Instead of replacing the switch. Replace the canopy with one that has a built-in dimmer, which can use the existing rocker switches, including two-way switching. The advantage of this solution is that it can also be performed by tenants in rented housing. As the tenant does not alter the permanent installation
Frequently Asked Questions
Why not just mount the dimmers in the ceiling box, as designed
- In some boxes, there isn't enough space
- You want to be able to adjust the dimmer without risk of electric shock
- There isn't a ceiling box where you want a lamp. Can be mounted with a side cable if a base is used
- You don't want to tamper with the fixed electrical installation. Because you're renting, or don't want to pay for an electrician
The first 2 points are solved by the dimmer manufacturer creating a new product that combines ceiling outlet and dimmer. This is why the smart canopy is being discontinued, and the files are being published here

Print Guide
- Print in PETG, it is more fire-resistant than PLA and ABS
- PETG V0 is recommended for the cylinder/puck that holds the dimmer
- Change printer and filament type to what you have. Don't just use what's set in the 3mf file
