Description

Cable extension box using the WAGO 221 inline splicing connector.

Benefits

  • Compact.
  • Very strong strain relief.
  • Mountable with countersunk screws.

How to make

  • Print in PETG, because it is more fire retardant than ABS or PLA.
  • Insert WAGO 221-2401 or WAGO 221-2411 inline splicing connector.
  • Secure with M3 screws and nuts. Suggest screws are 14mm with hex head.

If this model useful for you, please support me by clicking on the “Boost” button above.

  • At 100 boots, I will make and release a model that can split the connection.

I have updated the models and print profiles: * Easier to push in and remove the splice connectors. * The walls no longer bend out when connectors are pushed in.

Great to see you here at MakerWorld. I have updated the 3 wire version to have 10,2 mm wide hole for the cable. So it is compatible with flat wide cables, like 14/2 Romex.

Excellent, and with all the stringing, I see that you have used PETG, as I recommended.
