Bill of Materials
Description
I have published a simpler model here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2198678, for which no additional parts are necessary (100% 3D printed)
I developed these bird feeders because "my" birds always threw a lot of food from the feeding stations onto the ground. It was too much for the other birds who prefer to eat the food from the ground
To prevent pests from being attracted, or the scattered food from getting wet and starting to rot and stink in the meadow, I added an additional tray. This catches falling food remains very well and prevents the aforementioned circumstances
However, the bird feeder also works without this additional tray
The total height is 30cm, the outer ring diameter is 25.5 cm, and the capacity is about 1.25 liters
For the outer ring, there is a smaller version with a 179 mm diameter so that everything can also be printed with the A1 mini
The print is simple, without AMS, I used PETG for weather resistance
Apart from the self-printed parts, the following are required
1 threaded rod M6, 250mm long, made of stainless steel or brass
7 nuts M6
(available here: 25 Pieces Hex Nuts DIN 934/ISO 4032, Standard, Stainless Steel A2 V2A, Screw Nut, Stainless Steel Nut, Hex Nut, V2A Nut (M6, 25 Pieces) : Amazon.de: Hardware Store )
