Description
Large Blade 230 mm
Designed in Onshape, the blade length is 230 mm plus the 60 mm tang = 290 mm, this was achieved by putting the model diagonally on the build plate.
This model is designed to be used with the SKULL HANDLE that I made.
Combined this cosplay knife is 370 mm long.
ATTENTION:
the blade has a tang of 60 mm long by 20 mm x 6 mm
depending on your printer and filament settings and accuracy, the hole in the handle might not fit the blade,
BUT, I made this hole in the handle by using the “remove” function in the Bambu Slicer and set this hole to 6.5 x 20.5 x 65 mm
This way, if your prints don't match up, you can adjust the size of this hole yourself for a perfect fit.
The hole and the handle are CENTERED to the print plate, so be careful NOT TO MOVE THEM SEPARATELY!
As can be seen in the photos, this initial setup is a tight fit for my combination (I did spray a little silicone spray in the hole to facilitate the “marriage” ;-)
