The Hawker Sea Fury was a powerful British fighter-bomber from the 1950s, celebrated for its speed, maneuverability, and rugged construction. The Dutch Navy operated the Sea Fury aboard the aircraft carrier HNLMS Karel Doorman, using it for maritime patrol, fleet defense, and ground-attack missions. Its piston-engine design marked the pinnacle of propeller-driven fighter development before the jet age fully took over, making it one of the fastest and most capable carrier-based aircraft of its era.
