Description

UPDATES: Shorter length now available! <15" long! “Shortie 12oz Regular Plain”

UPDATES: Different can sizes are now available! Choose your size in from the print profile list.

Can dispenser that holds twelve 12oz cans! Two 6-packs of 🍺! Half a rack of vitamin R!

Put this in your pantry or even fit it in the refrigerator. Mix and match cans in the dispenser too because you can pull them out of the side with this design. Prints on 1 plate if sticking to 1 color, although the Coca-Cola logo would look pretty cool in black. I will post another profile later without the logo and maybe more filament savings. Enjoy 🎉

Works as it should, not a single problem with that. Only thing is that it is a bit too long to fit my fridge and it is a bit too long to fit in my ikea pax cabinet that is 58cm deep so it now is on my desk :)

Maybe a 10 or 8 can remix would work for you?

Thanks so much for making the shorter one. It looks great and looks like it will fit together, and fit perfect in the fridge. I chose to use a .6 nozzle, so I did not actually use this profile except for the model. (I like to use .6 for bigger functional parts.) I am boosting it and putting 5 stars. I can't say more because I can't slide the dovetail in probably due to my print settings being not as detailed as they need. I will file it down and likely taking the dovetail off to glue it

Thank you for the support! This has been a fun model to share. This makes sense, I designed the radius of the dovetails to be just large enough for the .4 nozzle to fit. I would think the slicer would keep that tool path inside the peremiter though. S even if the nozzle didn’t fit in that corner I would expect it to come out undersized or loose… I’m happy to look into it if you keep having trouble!

I got tired of filing while watching TV so I used one of my tried and true methods, which is: silicone grease and a rubber mallet. It worked! The dovetail popped a little bit out on one side, but it is full of cans now and looks great. If it fails, I will reprint it proper with a .4 nozzle. (The .6 print was less than 6 hours though!). Adding a picture.

Needed a lot of sanding. Imho a bit more tolerance would be better.

Did you print with a material other than PLA?

It was Bambu PLA Basic. Perhaps I'll reprint...

@schiko Thank you for the comment. This is the first I’ve heard of someone having a problem with the dovetail. The wall that the external dovetail prints on is fairly thin. For you did it feel/look worse as it gets further away from the build plate?

Like a few others in the comments mentioned, dovetail on the shortie is a little too tight. Made it about 30% in with some excessive force, but then couldn’t back out. Follow the advice of other commenters and do some sanding/filing :) Printed with PLA matte, .4 nozzle, using BBL A1 .20mm Standard profile.
