I tried to add just a couple of mm extra height to accommodate a bigger battery I found, but it's not easy with just the STL file to play with. I did manage to add a couple of recessed holes in the lid so that I could attach a couple of magnets, allowing me to use it as a leave-behind hidden node. Although I think my colour choice works against the 'hidden' aspect!

The download files (don’t export from the 3mf) should be STEP files (bambu still says ‘download STL’ but they are STEP files once downloaded) - so should work for editing in any parametric software? the magnets look like a good idea! DM me your email if you’re still having trouble, and I’ll send you a link to another STEP version

Ah, thanks, I hadn't twigged that the STL downloads were actually STEP files! That makes life a lot easier!

Amazing compact print. Added a magnet to the back and can easily slap it up somewhere really quick. Like the description mentions, it will not fit a larger battery. I attempted a MakerFocus 3000mah and it was very close.

love this! thank you so much for sharing the pics! it looks great! I had one of these fall from 10m fibreglass extending pole the other day and survive (wasn’t the intended use case)

Enclosure printed perfectly the belt clip came out a little bit wonky

thanks for the feedback, the enclosure looks good! You could try adding a brim in the slicer when reprinting the clip?

I managed to squeeze in a 3500mah in to this case. After a week it was down to 40%! I tried to mount the RAK buzzer module but not enough clearance under the board in this case as is. This the smallest longest lasting node I have.

I would like the step files if possible. I want to see about adding a screen to the front. The 0.96" and the 1.3" screens

I've added these to the down load section - so they available to download - space is very tight inside the model, so you might need to extend the lid to accommodate them. If you get it to work, I'd love to see what you did!

A bit of an update that people might find useful: This 3,000mAh battery fits: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08V11Z88Q But ONLY if you use a short-tail N-connector. The first one I tried didn't work - it was too long/stiff and lifted the battery up so that it fouled the lid - but this one is fine: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185501981058 The batteries come with the wrong JST connector, so some minor surgery is required.
