Gridfinity Cable Holder
This Gridfinity insert can be used to store different cable you may find in your own home. This model is a matching add on to one of my previous models: The USB Charger holder (https://makerworld.com/de/models/1940750-gridfinity-usb-charger-holder-eurostecker-typ-c#profileId-2084331)
What makes this Model special
Same as my previous Gridfinity models, i have designed this one to fit inside of an Ikea alex draw. Most important here is the height. This model is not taler than 90mm so it can fit inside.
I use this organizer to store my charging cables. These include cables by Apple in 1m length (usb type C, Apple watch, etc.) You could also fit cables longer and thicker than those mentioned and used by me. You can see one used in one of the last pictures (an Anker braided cable ~1.8m length) which fits but sticks out at the top.
Here you have to be careful, if you wanna use this insert in an Ikea alex draw. If the cable sticks out at the top, there is a chance you cannot close the draw!
Different Models
There are three different sizes you can Print:
- Gridfinity 2x3
- This model has space for up to six cables
- Gridfinity 2x2
- This model has space for up to four cables
- Gridfinity 2x1
- This model has space for up to two cables
