Description
WWII Classic Tank - IS-3, The hull is welded from rolled armor plates. The front is equipped with 110mm armor plates designed with a double slope, with the glacis plate sloped at 72°, significantly increasing the effective armor thickness. The turret is hemispherical and bowl-shaped, cast from rolled homogeneous armor, with the maximum thickness of the frontal turret armor reaching 255mm. The angles of armor inclination everywhere have been carefully calculated, providing excellent protection. It is equipped with one 1943-model 122mm D-25T tank gun, with 28 rounds of ammunition, capable of firing armor-piercing and high-explosive shells; it is also equipped with one 7.62mm DT coaxial machine gun and one 12.7mm DShK heavy machine gun for self-defense and anti-aircraft fire.
