I first fixed this bust of David by filling some weird holes it had under the top eyelids which you can see but would create some imperfections in the print surfaces you see.
I also sliced this model to print it in the best orientation I found, to have minimal supports and only in places where appearance matters the least, you still have to glue the two extra parts I took off the bottom, but you pretty much don't see them, so the glue line doesn't matter.
Print recommendations:
You should print each part in the orientation they come in using a fairly low layer height (0.12mm in my case), I used sunlu marble pla for mine but any pla should work, you need to enable tree supports and let the slicer auto generate them, there will be some in the eyes and nose, but they're pretty unavoidable, and they don't leave marks on the print at all.
Hope you enjoy this model !
