Description

Well, Here is a cute helper for your eggs hunt on Easter festivities.

Hide colored eggs everywhere for your kids to find and let the fun begins!

Sonny is adorable, kind of a charmer!

You can position his head to the direction you prefer!

Can be upscaled.

Have fun in changing color of his coat, eggs, hat.

The eyes come separately in order to waste less purge pla.

I also added two negative objects in the lower and upper parts of the body, in order to glue two magnets and keep them connected.

Enjoy!

I printed most of this without issues, I even removed some brims where they weren't needed but I can't get the head to print. I've attempted adding additional supports but it refuses to print without warping around the ears. Rest of the model printed perfectly.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out and for downloading my model. Do you mean that there is some sanding to do on the ears or you cannot finish the print? In the first case, I chose that position as the bunny face came out sooo smooth and yes, there is sanding to make on top of the ears. Now I am printing a second head position with adaptive layer height. It will take a bit longer though. Let me update you in a few hours so I can upload a head sliced in a different orientation with photos. Cheers

I add a separate sliced head in another orientation. Check the second profile. I hope this solve the problem :-)

Wonderful! I, too, had trouble printing the head and neck. I finally changed the supports for the head from tree to normal and that seemed to fix the problem. Otherwise, the top of the head was stringing as if without support.

A great print! Rather than bother with magnets, I simply glued the torso to the legs. I had trouble with the top of the head and neck stringing. Changing the support to regular supports instead of slim tree solved the issue.

What size magnets should be used for this?

should suit 10mmx3mm. even 8 is ok anyway. here is with 8x2. definitely needs 3mm tall

here is with 1 cm magnet. the hole is 1 cm so it fit even too perfect! you need to push it inside. Anyway I put the negative cilinder. you can make it bigger or smaller before slicing. it will make the hole to the size that you prefer if you are using the bambu lab file in the slicer.

Sad that it is not designed to work without glue

The basket actually works without glue, but this anyway is not a comment on the print profile and the vote should be on the print profile.

Hi guys, I uploaded a profile for the single head with different orientation and smoother print in the ears region as @dextarrogue raised the problem of difficulties with the printing. Thanks by the way for reaching out and letting me know! The print will take longer but the ears will come quite smooth. Also I uploaded a slightly modified basket that needs almost no supports (just because I hate removal supports and I found them a little tough to remove). You find the profiles under the complete model ones if you need! Thanks for dowloading the files!
