🔘 “Try Me” Button Enclosure – Replacement Animatronic Switch

Summary

A 3D-printable replacement “Try Me” button for animatronics or display items. Designed to house a mechanical clicky switch and connect easily via a 3.5 mm jack cable. Prints cleanly without supports and can be engraved on top for personalization.

Description

This 3D-printed replacement “Try Me” button enclosure is designed for use with animatronic displays, electronic props, or any device that uses a momentary switch input. It features a simple two-part design (top and base) that’s easy to print and assemble, with a snug fit for a mechanical clicky switch (link) and a 3.5 mm male jack to bare wire lead (link).

The design includes a square cutout to secure the switch in place, a wire slot for easy routing, and a smooth, flat top surface that can be engraved with text, logos, or custom labels — perfect for personalizing the button for your specific project or brand.

No supports are needed, and the model prints cleanly at fine resolution. It’s a great replacement part or DIY upgrade for animatronic projects, displays, or educational builds.

**Note: The pictures shows the engraving. This file does not have personalization on the cover.**
