Description
One of my cat's favorite toys is a 20mm marble. He loves to bat and chase them around, but because of the size, he often loses them to furniture. So I've made the marble a bit bigger and add a spacer ring that can be printed in a contrasting color.
The increased size makes it roll a little slower when he bats it, and makes it a little less likely to roll under furniture that is low to the ground. Due to the layer lines, the marbles are slightly imperfect, causing them to wobble when they roll slowly, and using a contrasting spacer color accentuates the wobble, making it more attractive to pounce!
You can print in a single color, or print multiple copies in different colors, then mix and match!
The include assembly animation is for the 20mm version. This version assembles exactly the same way, but with the addition of the spacer ring before combining the two halves together. The final picture is to give an idea of the size compared to the 20mm marble.
Note: the spacer ring is required. The marble is too loose when assembled without the ring.
