Description

Fanning wallet, printed with magnets inside each card pane.

Need to check your slicing settings and pause your printer at the level which closes the holes. Once paused, place your magnets and continue the print. Could be a good idea to wipe down the magnets with some isopropyl so next layer sticks better, if your panes are to thin, magnets to thick or you cant get enough layers on top of the magnets you might even want to put some glue on the top surface.

I printed my wallet with a 0.2mm nozzle at a 0.05mm layer height, first layer 0.1mm, put my pause on layer 32, 1.65mm.

Depending on how firm you want the wallet you might wanna try different magnets. Included all f3d files, just open the user parameters and configure the files as you seem fit. Different card sizes, magnets all easily configurable. I suggest using S-03-01-N and S-06-01-N for a light fanning wallet and S-04-01-N and S-08-01-N for a bit firmer fan. Models for these magnets are in the files section.

Front can be printed multicolored or in single color.

The “indented” model is for cards with protruding text, being 1.3mm thick. The “regular” models are for your other cards being 0.8mm thick. If you have any other thickness this can be modified in the f3d files.

I would also suggest ironing all top layers.

This store has all the magnets you could want for a good price: https://www.supermagnete.de/eng/

If you still use the barcode on your cards this might not be the best idea, the magnets will most likely ruin them in the long run.
