Description

Simple model of the D20 … it's basic size is oversized, but when scaled to 25% (as the default print profile is) the resulting print comes out about right for a normal D20.

I did 100% infil and increased size to 35mm and the weight feels great! I would love if you could add this same design but in a spindown format for the numbers so I can use this for my MTG games! thank you

is there a specific spin down patern you like? I might be able to implement that

that’s a great question and I’m not sure. I know if I’m holding the die, it usually spins counter clockwise in the hand to spin down

@Kreepa please take a look at my profile for the recent upload of a new D20. I edited the D20 faces to be spindown ordered.

it’s not a perfect icosahedron but I don’t know if rolls even though

interesting. I believe the manner I created the model would produce a proper solid. What about it makes you think it’s imperfect? I appreciate the feedback and would love to know how to improve

My model creation method was to utilize the three planes to form vertices, and then built up the solid by connecting the points. I think mathematically, the source 3d model is a proper icosahedron. Is there something wrong with the profile/print model that isn't matching expectations?

Again, I don’t know if rolls even but visually not all the faces appear to be even. otherwise there is no problem with the print profile in fact, I enjoyed printing it

i printed it at about 2 inches for fun, i would say quality is nice but if you have the ability to print without supports do it! picking it out of the numbers kinds sucks BUT THATS AT NO FAULT OF THE MODEL ITS GREAT
