Holy Grail Filament Samples | Tribute to a Tribute

These are not the Holy Grail of Filament Samples, they are merely a tribute, to my tribute, to the Holy Grail of Dry Boxes. But with just 15 minutes of printing per sample and 7 varieties to choose from, these might just be the filament samples you’re looking for. They’re designed to slot into the eyes of my Dry Boxes, so you can know exactly what filament you’re keeping safe and dry inside at a glance, but they’re actually pretty good as filament samples regardless: 

• Under 4g of material per sample
• 15 minutes to print 1 sample
• Thickness indicators to visualise your filament at a variety of thicknesses.
• 7 varieties to choose from, including: dedicated slot for 40x30mm printed labels, dedicated slot for bambu spool stickers, and more
• Print 4 samples “By Object” to print each one even faster, already done for you in the print profile
• Print 8 samples “By Object” to print each one faster still, if you have 2x AMS units, also done for you in the print profile
• Large flat area can be used to add any text you like in your slicer. Make a request in comments if you would like preset text options, just tell me know which :-)
• The flat section can also be used to stick 40 mm x 30 mm labels/stickers
• Fit snugly into my dry box – work upright and sideways. Should work upside down too but haven’t tried this for long periods.

These stats are for the print with varying thicknesses, not the “simple” variant.

If you’re intending to use these with my Dry Boxes, just make sure you print a compatible version of the Dry Box! The first releases didn’t have a slot that these could go into.
