Description

This is a stand for the Apple Vision Pro I made out of a desire to have a compact, vertical stand for my desk and being unable to find one available that did that. You can either print the included rod, or use a dowel of your own choosing that is 0.75" and 215 mm in length (using something fun like walnut, brass, copper, or steel can add a cool look!). It uses four 6 mm rubber feet on the bottom.

This is for my 23W light seal model, I'm admittedly not sure how other sizes work with this. Might need to scale the pringle up/down.

I printed mine on a Bambu P1S with white marble PLA filament (also from Bambu). I recommend binding all the pieces together with superglue.

This is a stand I made for fun in Fusion 360. If you print this and something bad happens I do not take responsibility. You are free to distribute/sell this physically if you would like, but please do not distribute the software files on any other site.

i tried making it in copper filament but the filament ran out =/ edges very jaggedy, any suggestions?

0.12 height on a P1S, 4 wall loops, tree supports. will try to reset it to designer default.

Weird, did you print with that part down? It's pretty flat up there so it should be pretty trivial for a printer to print. I would make sure the part with the dowel hole is the side on the bed (and use supports for the bottom), then try printing at an even finer resolution for the top half (you can use variable layer height to make the bottom half 0.2 mm, and the top half 0.08 mm for instance). I would think that would resolve it nicely. Also I don't know much about copper filament, if it's a fancy filament with actual copper in it that might just be a trickier material to print, it was pretty straightforward with Bambu's marble PLA for me. Also I'd recommend placing the Vision Pro on the stand the opposite way, the nose cut out on the stand is intended to form to the nose part of the Vision Pro and it sits at a bit of a weird angle if you use it the other direction

Hey Christian! Thank you so much for this model. Printing it right now, and will be printing the dowel after. What settings do you suggest for the dowel? Unsure if it should be generic settings or the same as the Pringle/ base :)

Prints beautifully, I also printed the dowel from PLA Carbon and it’s very sturdy. nice simple, elegant design.

I’m finding the weight of the headset causes the top piece it rests on to tilt forward and detach from the rod. Any tips?! Love the design tho :)

Very nice. I printed in white and gray PLA to match the AVP aesthetic. Perfect fit.

I really really love mine, it's such a fundamentally *cool* device, not only to use, but just to stare at haha. I'm having a ton of fun building apps for it

Oh so you are a developer. I am a developer too. I work in aviation. Mainly on UAVs (ML models and C) . For fun I build flutter and swift apps. I don’t own AVP yet cause its not sold in my country and bringing is expensive like 4.5-5k which is not worth it. What types of apps do you work on if you don’t mind sharing?

Apps that are nowhere near as cool/sophisticated as yours :p Right now I build a virtual pets app called Pixel Pals, and an app for watching YouTube on the Vision Pro called Juno.
