Description

Bambu Lab P2S Top Glass Lid Riser – External Filtration Solution

The P2S is designed without an active exhaust fan, meaning fumes and odors can escape through small gaps during printing. This Top Glass Lid Riser is specifically engineered to provide a direct and efficient exhaust path for connecting an external filtration system, ensuring a cleaner and safer printing environment.

 

By venting the air from the top of the printer, the riser takes advantage of the natural upward flow of warm air and fumes, effectively preventing harmful particles from escaping into your room. This is especially crucial when working with materials like ABS or ASA, which release more fumes during printing.

 

The top venting system ensures that fumes are quickly captured and directed out, reducing the risk of air contamination and improving the overall air quality in your workspace. This setup provides enhanced protection and peace of mind while printing, making it ideal for home or office environments.

 

Important Installation Note — Please Read Before Printing

  • The default recommended material is PETG. Other strong materials should also work, but we haven’t tested them yet, so please proceed with your preferred material at your own discretion.
     
  • For users who have the FNATR Vent System, installation is hassle-free — simply print the model. All the necessary parts are already included with the vent system.

     

  • For users who don’t have our vent system, you will need to provide your own exhaust setup.

     

  • If you already have the vent system, the filtered air coming out of the unit is clean and safe. However, if you still prefer to vent outside, you can simply connect another hose to the air outlet.

     

 

Latest Update – November 28, 2025

Based on the latest feedback from our users, we learned that even the tighter-fit connectors from the previous version could still feel loose for some users, which sometimes resulted in small gaps between parts. Since print tolerances can vary significantly between different printers, we realized it was necessary to redesign the connectors for better compatibility.

 

In this updated version (P2S Glass Lid Riser v11-28-2025), we have introduced Adaptive Flex Dovetail Connectors — an X-shaped spring-style dovetail mechanism that slightly compresses when pressed. This flexibility allows the connector to automatically adapt to variations in slot size on both sides, ensuring a secure and consistent fit without worrying about dimensional differences.

 

 

Additionally, in this profile we have split the model into six printing plates to provide better clearance and easier handling. You are free to combine or rearrange these plates in any way that suits your build to save printing time.
