This is a modified version of Voxel3's highly detailed model of an Assault Phaser from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. I researched the coloring and painted parts of the phaser and stand. The window on the back was printed in clear PETG. The clear part for the bottom of the phaser never came out, so I left it off my print. If you come up with a version that works, please post it.

There are 11 joints are needed to attach the pieces and 4 rivets for the slide. The way to assemble everything is:

• glue grip_left and grip_right.
• glue heatsink1 and heatsink2.
• sand, prime and paint all the pieces (repeat as necessary).
• glue the rivets to the slide and apply a final coat of paint.
• glue the controls to the back and apply a final coat of paint..
• glue the pilot to the back.
• glue the muzzle, the interior, the heatsink and the logo to the grip.
• glue the slide to the grip.
• and finally, insert and glue the back.

The display stand comes from UnimatrixRed's amazing stand but I added the colors for this print.
