Description

Do you have a bin full of those pesky screwdriver bits?!  I sure did, I searched for one that fit my needs, nothing seemed to work well.  So, I designed my own.  there are actually two models here.  The first one is for those long bits, you make bases with slots, then find those rubber things that hold bits.  Amazon, China etc  But those come in slightly different sizes, hence the various sizes provided.  Find one that fits snug but doesn't stress the plastic.    They slide in and fall left or right, you go back and forth till they are full.

Next up the hundreds of smaller ones, they go in a rubber thing, then into the round snowflake looking drum, I used 5mm Bolts with bevel so they don't bump into the drum next to it.   And standard skateboard bearingsindustrial standard "608" size, with a bore of 8 mm, an outer diameter of 22 mm, and a width of 7 mm.  Everyone should have 30 or 40 of these around, very useful!  If not, get some!

They are fun to spin, if one of the rubber things is missing it will show up on the top.  And for when you go to a job site, just grab one with bits you need, and toss in tool bag.  When you get home, that glaring empty spot will remind you to put them back!  And if one bit is missing, it shows up a gap, so you hunt for that one to put it back too!  As we all know what it's like to be missing that ONE Bit you use all the time!

Anyway, have fun, remix etc.I'll include the Fusion files, if your really wanting to see behind the curtain!
