I have no doubt this works. For anybody looking to scale it, I scaled this up to accommodate a 1.5" strap and the buckle wouldn't clip for me. Thank you for creating this though!

is there anyway you could reinforce this maybe thickening any parts easy for you to modify in your original file? I could of course try just stretching it one way or another but if you could make it reinforced to take a lot of abuse that'd be really nice. if you made it thicker I bet we could have it become one of strongest designs out there. ever seen the Caribiner designs Herr on makerworld? I bet you could build one of those Into this so it becomes really strong or just has a built in carabiner hook
