10″ Rack Enclosure (5U) – Modular & Wall-Mountable

Description:
This 3D-printable 10″ rack is designed for compact server, network, or NAS setups.
With an overall height of 5U (222.25 mm) and an inner width of 254 mm, the design follows the EIA-310 10″ rack standard, ensuring that commercial accessories such as patch panels, shelves, and fan modules fit perfectly — as shown in the pictures.

The hole spacing and vertical pattern fully comply with the EIA-310 specification (horizontal hole distance ≈ 235 mm center-to-center).
This allows you to combine this rack with both printed and store-bought 10″ components.

The enclosure has a depth of 250 mm, ideal for mini servers, switches, or NAS systems.
Optional 3D-printed drawers, trays, or blank panels can be added.
All parts — side walls, rails, and back panel — are strong and easy to print.

Both the top and bottom panels are secured with four M4×12 screws each.
Thanks to this screw-based construction, the rack is fully modular — multiple enclosures can be stacked or connected side by side using the same mounting holes.

The design also includes a mounting plate, allowing the system to be wall-mounted or used freestanding.
The mounting plate can also be used to connect two enclosures together on the wall, as shown in the images.

Recommended material: PETG, ABS or ASA for maximum strength and temperature resistance.
The design supports M6 cage nuts or threaded inserts for mounting.
