Simple Clean QTip Jar

This is a basic jar / holder for small items like Q-Tips (cotton swabs). It has a round, “soft” appearance to fit in nicely in a medicine cabinet or bathroom.

One version is hollow, and the other has a center divider. The divider is to prevent Q-Tips from falling over and laying sideways on the bottom.

Both are the same size of 71mm tall and 81mm diameter (~just below 3" and just over 3").

Please Note:

• Strength - This is lightweight and uses only 36g of filament (27g for the hollow version), but that also means it's not very strong and should primarily be used for lightweight items… like Q-Tips.
• Speed - This intentionally prints a bit slower than most models. The outer walls are slowed down to help avoid the issue where prints are part shiny and part dull (matte) because of uneven cooling times.

I designed this from scratch for fun and CAD practice. I know there are better or more elaborate models out there, but I like simplicity. MakerWorld also has tools to make your own vase or desk organizer if this one doesn't suit your needs.

The one profile has 3 plates, but you only need to print 1 plate (the 3rd plate has both model versions).
