This is a remixed fence and perch for the Bird Buddy feeder. Previously if you wanted to use both you'd need a long screw, this combines the perch and fence together so they're on the same plane which looks nicer. The fence has to be printed vertically which in theory isn't ideal, but the point of it is really deterrence rather than strength so it should be fine. Ideally you'd want to print this in a material that can handle some UV exposure, but if it's in the shade PLA may be fine.
The file includes printable screws which work well, but I went with proper bolts since I didn't want to create issues for the giftee down the line.
The extra landing space and walls make it a lot more likely that you'll get birds in frame, and certain types of birds are a lot more comfortable with a proper perch. It also helps keep seeds from escaping, which is always welcome.
Still trying to get my father to give me a proper photo with the walls visible but in the meantime I put up some nice bird photos from the device's camera.
