Description

This is my print profile for the original model by ohman74 on thingiverse.

 

Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII Remake by ohman74 - Thingiverse

 

Added materia which I printed in translucent TPU. Blade pieces print together but then are pulled apart and epoxied together, an M8 threaded rod is inserted through the handle into the first blade piece.

printed this sword just in time for when the game first came out, great detail, just a little weak by the handle so I needed to figure out a way to make it more sturdy

I printed it like it should be but it broke where the handle meets the bottom of the sword quite a few times after each repair

I used epoxy and then welded the seams with a soldering iron.

what is the length of the m8 rod? just finished printing and getting ready to weld and glue parts together

I used Rustoleum “metallic aluminum” for the blade edge, krylon fusion “metallic dark metal” for the rest, and krylon colormaxx “gloss leather brown” for the handle
