MOSQUITO MK1 Airsoft Kit

05/06/26 - Check out the new MK1 5.56 model. It is an extension to the MK1 that uses M4 AEG magazines and introduces a new adjustable stock!

The MOSQUITO by HYBRID ARMORY is a 3D printed airsoft platform purposefully designed to be super compact, lightweight, and modifiable, enabling you to be the real menace on the airsoft battlefield and rival traditional store-bought airsoft models. With the source being available, the MOSQUITO can be endlessly adapted to suit your playstyle.

The MK1 version vastly improves upon the previous Open Beta 2 version through superior aesthetic design, improved function and reliability, and expanded customisation options, allowing you to tailor the MOSQUITO more than ever before.
 

To name a few significant changes to get you excited:

• Brand new handguard design - Opens a new dimension of customisation for the MOSQUITO
• Brand new mock bolt design - You guys wanted it, I made it a reality
• Brand new folding iron sights - Even more tacticool than before, adjustable too!
• Refined grip design - Looks much better than before, and a new side texture for enhanced grip
• Refined folding stock - Much more reliable locking mechanism

And many more refinements.
 

The final release also retains the same core features that made MOSQUITO popular in the first place:

• Compact - MK1 ranging from 671mm to 382mm in length
• Lightweight - Being only around 1.5kg in weight when fully assembled
• Easy to build - Using mainly standard metric components that are easy to source
• Source available - With STEP files being available, modify to your heart's content!

This project has been a long time in the making and truly embodies a passion project. I hope you enjoy building it as much as I enjoyed creating it, and that you get to take it out on the field to show it off! The MOSQUITO has proven to be a real head-turner on the airsoft field!

Due to time constraints, this handbook is not yet fully complete. Some sections remain unfinished or could use further refinement. However, don’t fret! The essential content, such as the assembly instructions, is all here. The missing parts are mainly supplementary sections, such as creative writing and additional reading, which are not critical to completing the build. These will be finished at a later date.
