This is a quick homebrew build I made inspired by an Etsy product with similar capabilities but, you know, free.
It allows for the attachment of two single loops to the HMD without exposing the silicon on the arms to any stress. Additionally, it allows for rotation of the top band, making it very adjustable to headshapes.
Easy print, I chose ASA as a material, 0.16mm height, 4 perimeters, 15% Gyro infill on a 0.4mm CHT nozzle.
Post process: the hole on the baseplate that the tower sits inside is purposefully snug. It fits perfectly on a well tuned X1C, shaving off a few rotations with a deburring tool allows for adjustment of friction for the rotational property of the adapter.
Have fun, remix but don't sell!
