A simple helper robot, generated from a 2D image via the Kaedim tool.

I had an image of a cute helper robot in mind, and the model that Kaedim made was fine, but needed some optimisation for printing (eg the arm joints of the original were incredibly delicate, some details were missing). I edited the model in MeshLab and Xcode to get the final result.

Purely decorative, and just a bit of fun for experimentation. I wrote about Helperbot on my blog if you'd like to know more about the design and iteration process (follow-up post here).

Will need to be printed with supports.
