Minimalistic weekly pill dispenser
I wanted to create a minimalist pill dispenser that could be displayed at all times without resembling a typical pill box. While there are many functional pill boxes available, I aimed to design one with a more aesthetic look that integrates into its surroundings.
In lieu of traditional "days," I opted for dots to reinforce its minimalist design. The dispenser has a capacity for seven days' worth of pills. Refilling is a breeze—simply open the lid and fill for the week. When you reach the "R," it's a gentle reminder to refill.
The small size takes approximately 2 hours to print, using 60g of filament, while the medium size requires 2.5 hours a
nd 70g of filament. A1 & A1 Mini have slightly longer print times.
The rotating top of the dispenser operates through a built-in spring mechanism, preventing free rotation and adding a touch of resistance. Its compact size enhances portability. Rounded edges on the rotating part facilitate easy handling and rotation.
The dispenser comes in two sizes, small and medium, with the flexibility to upgrade to larger or smaller options by using the same base and lid.
Note: Exercise caution when removing support from the spring part to prevent breakage. Use pliers or a knife to loosen tight supports.
