STEP files have also been provided for your remixing convenience :)
This newer version eliminates the arm sticking outwards and the entire flap is made of PTFE tubing. This means nothing should stick to it, and it can move out of the way if the nozzle moves into it. The protrusions have also been extended to provide a much tighter fit to avoid it ever getting knocked out by the print head.
Before proceeding with assembly, after the part has been printed, check that it fits snuggly inside the purge chute and isn't loose. You may need to wiggle it slightly to get it to slide into place. The fitment is provided by protruding corners to allow for easier sanding if you need to slightly adjust instead of needing to print the entire part again.
Adjust for shrinkage/thermal expansion accordingly to the material that you are printing with.
If you print primarily in PLA, there shouldn't be much issue printing this in PETG as the PLA does not stick to PETG. I do not expect anyone to go and buy an entire roll of PA/PC or CF filaments just to print a tiny part, feel free to use what you have, but minimum I would recommend is PETG.

Be aware ABS/ASA and some other higher temp filaments release odors and VoCs while printing, be sure to work in a ventilated area.
This design replaces the M3 insert with a M3 hex nut due to the location of where its installed.
PTFE wiper prep and installation is same as before except the tube length is 25-30mm.
Any and all feedback is appreciated, happy printing!
