Description

Summary

Note: These were designed specifically for an AtomStack A5 Pro using my own leg extensions which raise the laser by 120mm. It WILL NOT WORK with your laser at the normal height. I am presently redesigning the laser leg extensions and will post them on here (then change this text) once they're posted.

--

I made these as a support frame for my AtomStack A5 Pro laser so that I could leave the roller in place while engraving / cutting flat materials. It is designed to fit a mesh grid made from fly screen frame and wire (gardening) mesh. You only need the "Grid Surround Corners" file if you're going to use the same materials for the grid.

Just print FOUR of everything and it all "locks" together - sort of. (See Post Printing below)

Print the sides laying flat and the legs standing. You need four of everything. Only print the Grid Surround Corners if you're going to make your screen from the same materials I used.

Assembly

The sides are designed to be supported in the middle with the legs that come with the AtomStack Roller (see photo). If you don't have those legs you MIGHT be able to use these:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4869893

But I've not tested those legs.

I made my frame from this fly screen frame:

https://www.pillarproducts.com.au/product/doors-insect-protection/flyscreen-frames-sill/flyscreen-frame/

And the 25x25mm version of this wire mesh:

https://rapidmesh.com.au/product-range/mesh-panels-mesh-panels/

Both sourced from my local hardware warehouse. The "Grid Surround Corners" are designed to fit into the fly screen frame and the mesh slides into the gutter.
