Description

I tried one of the other Babo wire cutter inserts that are available and it certainly looked like it should work for my pliers, but no such luck. To hopefully save others from printing this unnecessarily, I designed this to fit the Milwaukee flush cut pliers, model #48-22-6105.

The model file has two plates with the text in two different orientations to suit your preference.

I see now why people say figuring new models out eats up a lot of filament. So if you'd like to buy me a cup of coffee or, more likely, contribute toward another roll of filament you can Paypal me here. Thank you!

This is based on the empty insert boxes by Willi 3D.

I'm probably being a bit dumb, but how do I change the text color? The rest of the Babo stuff is recessed text that you can adjust the color of, but I can't seem to on this one as when I got to paint, the text disappears.

Sorry for the late reply. The text is just recessed, so the "text color" is just the same as the base color of the insert, in my case black. If you want the text to be a totally different color (so adding a third color to the print), you'd have to do the following: 1. Select the object "text_shape" from the object list. 2. Right click on it, select Change Type and change that from "Negative Part" to "Modifier". 3. Change the color of "text_shape" to whatever third color you want to use. Hope that helps.
