- 7/8" / 22mm dowel x 1: the lenght depends on your needs
Description
After searching high and low for an easy C-clamp rack (and coming up empty), I decided to design my own, which is very easy to place a 3" C-clamp on it, just drop it, it is not necessary to open or close it as I saw in other models.
These two brackets let you build a rack as wide as the dowel you’ve got on hand. You can screw them directly to the wall, mount them to a piece of wood add them to a French cleat system the possibilities are endless.
Now, some might say: “If you’re mounting to wood anyway, why not just drill holes straight into it?” Fair point, but I don’t own a drill bit that thick, and honestly, I love the combo of wood and 3D-printed parts. It adds a nice touch of maker flair.
This is my first model, of course, I didn't account for the gap I needed from the wall or whatever the rack will be, so I had to put those wooden spacers.
