Description

As a loyal AC Milan fan for over thirty years, I've always wanted a badge that I could wear on my chest or attach to my bag. However, most badges on the market need to be pinned on, requiring piercing through clothes or bags, which could damage my items with waterproof layers. After getting a 3D printer, I decided to bring my idea to life: creating a badge with a magnetic backplate. This design uses rare-earth magnets to secure the badge without damaging the fabric. This method proved very successful, holding firmly on T-shirts or windbreakers. While it's slightly less stable on thicker fleece garments, it's still sufficiently secure without shifting unless forcefully moved.

  • After printing, you need to install 12 rare-earth magnets, each with a diameter of 6mm and a thickness of 2mm.
  • When installing the magnets, glue is needed. I used Eryo 5800.
