Designed to work ideally with an iPhone 14 Pro or similarly sized iPhone (13, 13 Pro, 14, and 15 should be similar) to charge with Apple MagSafe USB-C charger.

 

V2 - Added TPU Base

After months of use, I wanted to revise this to fix a couple of frustrations. It slid around a little too easily on my desk and if you picked up the phone the cord would misalign when you set it back down. So I added a TPU base that has a bit of non-skid action, a bit more weight, and also when glued to the PLA upper, it captures the cord nicely.

 

The TPU base was printed on a Bambu X1C. Basically, run it super slow - 20-25m/s.

 

You do need to apply pressure (clamps) for up to 24 hours to get the glue to adhere.

 

Upper printed with Duramic PLA, variable layer height, 0.6mm nozzle. Print with part oriented as would be used with only support for the cord slot area underneath.

Also works great with AirPods or AirPods Pro.

 

To adapt for different uses, you can change HeightCenterMS in the Fusion 360 parameters to make the MagSafe location taller or shorter. You'd probably also want to adapt BackTall as well.

Printed amazing. I printed in PLA on the A1 Mini. No problems whatsoever. The mag safe charging puck fit right in. I did add the TPU foot as the PLA was a little slick on my desk.
