Description
I had this tape measure wandering around in the drawer. I found the project on printables, but it wasn't right by my yardstick. I had to reinforce the locking tabs because they broke on the first two prints and I had to widen the housing slightly because it was too tight. I also included a space in the base to insert a 6x3 magnet so you can attach it to the fridge or any other metal surface. Now for me it is perfect and comfortable.

Broke two of the prongs trying to insert it but it seems to still be working fine with 2 less teeth.

That may depend on the filament. I printed my orange in the photo with free bambu filament with the P1S. I printed another one for a friend with another filament, and I kept the temperature slightly higher because at the level of the teeth the filament didn't melt well. Thanks for your rating

Nice model, but the tooth broke off when I popped the crank in to place. Still works tho

Strength Issue:the inner clips cracked with PLA Matte black. Maybe it‘s stronger with other PLA filament …
