Description

A smaller version of my beautiful German-style midcentury modern mantel clock (https://makerworld.com/en/models/168122#profileId-184558). Perfectly sized to print with the A1 Mini, the small size of this clock makes it perfect for a desk!

Inspired primarily by the Welby clock that my family had when I was a child, but also taking design cues from clocks by Weimar.

Easy to print and assemble!

You will need: Eight 6x2mm magnets, clock movement mechanism, glue

After printing, insert the inlay into the face (depending on your printer, you may or may not need to glue it in place), then glue the face into the outer shell. Glue the magnets into the holes in the outer shell and rear panel. Finally, install the clock movement.

Designed for a clock movement with a 6 to 8mm (or ¼") thread. You may need to add washers if using longer shaft.

Most clock movements will include hands. Use those if you'd like, or print your own - I have included a set that fit the mechanism that I used, but they won't work with all mechanisms out there. In the raw files, there is a parametric .f3d model that should allow you to easily change the hole diameters to fit your needs.
