Description

Valentinosaurus: the evolutionary descendant of Ringosaurus.

An elegant evolution with a heart-shaped back, improved stability and a cleaner print.

After millions of layers, the Valentinosaurus evolved to be stronger, smoother and more stable - improving its prehistoric protection of your jewellery Jurasically.

With a wider stance, Valentinosaurus can hold more rings without tipping over.

Overhang angles and bridge distances have been improved for smoother print-in-place prints with no supports needed.

Came out beautifully. However, I will likely be doing it again via Bambu Studio myself due to the underside of his neck… that said, there are only two things I would change about these settings (assuming I’m using the same base settings as the pre-set option I chose, which includes 100% infill mod on the base): 1. I’d use the smallest layer height possible (.08) so that the inside of the heart area was perfect, as well as just under the ringosaurus’ neck and the very top of it’s head. Also could try adaptive layer height instead, which would be faster but still allow for more gradual slopes. 2. I would force cooling on the overhangs to ensure that under the neck was perfect. It looks like that may have been the only issue, but I could be wrong. Note on the print settings I used: I really liked the 100% infill modifier he used to ensure the most weight at the bottom and much less along the neck! This let’s you put more rings on and not worry! I love the stability of it.

great print on A1 mini, the 100% infill makes it feel sturdy and it holds my wife’s rings well. printed in Bambu matte pla

this printed very well. overhangs were clean. good balance and stability due to the heavy 100% infill base. seam positions were placed well also. all I need to do now is to always remember to place my ring on this dinosaur and not on some random place on my messy desk.
