How to print

Please use the predefined print profiles. There are different settings for each item on the buildplates to ensure the look and strength.

All parts are printed by object.

Everything from print profile 1 is printed in ABS. I don't recommend using PLA as this is prone to deforming by the warmth.

Choose between print profile 2 and 3 for the LED cover. The LED cover can be printed in a translucent material, PLA or PC. In the pictures I have 1 printed in regular PLA+.

Why ABS for the first print profile?

LED lights produce a little bit of heat. When printing the parts in PLA, you can be sure that over time the material will deform. ABS is more heat resistant and will not suffer from the heat produced by the LED's.

For the LED cover you can use any material. This is not a structural part and the LED's are not that close to it.

When printing ABS, you will have to clean your buildplate with hot water and soap before printing. Also keep in mind ABS will shrink when it cools down. The main parts are designed to be 200mm by 200mm. But in reality after cooling down, there is only 199mm by 199mm.

This is important to know, especially for the LED cover which has a 1mm clearance.

In the print profile I changed the scale for the cover, so when printing in PLA (which has a low shrinkage), the cover will fit.

When you print the cover in ABS, you can change the scale to 100% for a good fit.

Printed in Bambu PETG Black and Clear. Increased size of light filter by 100.75% and am printing 1.3mm wall to give more diffraction and not be so flexible. Love the design. Using 120v LED strip for dimming and ease of install. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZPFMQW9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
